Savi People

Tina Daisley
Managing Director

I’m an organisational change specialist with a passion for helping people be their best, individually and together.

In over 20 years of senior management roles in the public sector, I’ve built many high-performing teams and delivered projects I’m proud to say I was part of.

Some of these include:

  • As its General Manager — People and Culture, taking the National Disability Insurance Agency from trial to full scheme implementation. This included growth from 7,000 to 184,000 participants; 500 to 2,500 employees and 4 to 83 locations. We also increased our number of employees with disability by almost 30% during this period.

  • In various leadership roles across People Services, Capability and Strategic Coordination at the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) I implemented a change management agenda that reduced our operating budget by 26%, re-engineered work practices, redesigned the organisational structure and introduced new executive leadership programs.

  • At Comsuper, where I held Director roles across Service, Facility Management and Learning & Development, I successfully proposed and implemented an IT change initiative that digitised our end-to-end workflow, reducing rework by 50% and leading to a significant increase in customer satisfaction. I also successfully implemented the organisation’s first suite of Leadership Development programs.

Since leaving the public service, I’ve continued my passion for leadership development as the Director of Savi, and as a facilitator with the Jeff Whalan Learning Groups. As a trained Executive Coach, Mediator and DISC facilitator, I’ve worked with dozens of organisations and had the privilege of delivering hundreds of workshops.

I’ve also been continually refining everything that my career journey has taught me about organisational health, particularly the bedrocks of Trust and Integrity that, when modelled from the top-down, have an infinite capacity to build an engaged, high-performing culture. When people at all levels feel able to raise issues or challenges, and debate is encouraged rather than avoided, workplaces can authentically build a way of operating that is open, honest and transparent. Employees will feel free to bring their whole selves to work; and workplaces reap the benefits of having full access to people’s passion, commitment and expertise. I know this to be true, because I’ve used this approach when building my own high-performing teams, and I’ve seen it succeed amongst the organisations that Savi has worked with.

Tangible, measurable change is my end-game and I work tirelessly to ensure that teams can solve complex people problems, build organisational resilience and lead change using intentional, transparent and practical strategies.
